Climate Conversations can help

Climate Conservations is a 6-session online program that improves your ability to effectively and authentically engage others when discussing climate change.

Though there are many resources that teach you how to frame your climate messages, there are few programs that provide opportunities to build skills and practice them in a supportive, low-stakes environment.

We start a new playful and engaging program on March 8, 2024.

Is this for me?

Climate Conversations is for anyone who is concerned about the impacts of climate change and wants to be more comfortable having one-on-one conversations about climate change. Please note this course focuses on one-on-one conversations about climate change and is not for those seeking basic information about climate change.

Previous participants included professionals and volunteers who have climate conversations with people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives: peers, educators, youth, neighbors, municipal leaders, land trust members, people concerned about health, and marine contractors.

What you will get: Practical Skills!

Our goal is to help you build new skills in a supportive space, so you are more prepared to have difficult climate conversations in the real world. After each session, you will receive a summary of the exercises, references shared in the sessions, short articles, and videos for additional learning, as well as ideas for practicing your new climate conversation skills between sessions.
