Do you want to be more comfortable
talking about climate change?
Climate change is upon us, and many people feel “stuck” in terms of what they can do. We all struggle with having tough conversations, but without them, we can’t make any progress on the urgent issues planet Earth is facing. Climate Conversations is here to help open up meaningful conversation about our feelings and what we can do to surface and face the very real issues of climate change.
DID YOU KNOW?
76% of people in the US believe global warming is happening, and Americans’ worry about global warming is at an all time high.
Yet, 64% rarely or never talk about it.
“There is one thing that everyone can do, and we’re not doing it
Talk about it. If you don’t talk, why would you care? And if you don’t care, why would you do anything about it?”
If you avoid talking about climate change you’re not alone. Good news: talking about climate change can be easier than it may seem. The best way to start talking is to find what you have in common, and start there. Sometimes lightening up the conversation is a great way to start.

Climate Conversations is for anyone who is concerned about the impacts of climate change and wants to be more comfortable having one-on-one conversations about climate change.
-
✺
Previous participants included professionals and volunteers who have climate conversations with people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives: peers, educators, youth, neighbors, municipal leaders, land trust members, people concerned about health, and marine contractors.
-
✺
Our goal is to help you build new skills in a supportive space, so you are more prepared to have difficult climate conversations in the real world.
